Frequently asked questions
Floating Docks
A floating dock adjusts to fluctuating water conditions. The unique design of the float chambers traps air on the surface of the water for additional buoyancy. As the water levels change, the dock raises and lowers.
Yes, the Connect-A-Dock can be reconfigured, added to, and moved to another location. The unique connection system is very flexible, and you can reconfigure the same components into many different shapes. (i.e. T, F, L, swim platform, etc.) Different configurations may require additional float sections and/or connectors. These can be added at any time.
Freezing temperatures will not harm the Connect-A-Dock; however, with shifting ice, we recommend removal for the winter months. Please reference the winterization policy.
The Connect-A-Dock is gray. This color reflects sunlight and maintains a safe temperature when in contact with bare skin. This polyethylene dock has UV protection, and the color is permanent.
No, we don’t recommend painting the Connect-A-Dock. One advantage of this product is that it never needs painting.
Docks can be cleaned with a garden hose and whisk broom. A mild detergent or biodegradable, non-abrasive cleaner can also be used. Get these products at your local automotive, Home and garden, or discount store.
Yes, the Connect-A-Dock is resistant to oil, gas, and saltwater. In saltwater applications, we recommend using stainless steel components or non-corrosive materials to anchor the dock.
The top surface has a molded, slip-resistant wood grain texture to prevent slipping. Always use caution around the water for your safety.
One person can install float sections, but two or more are recommended. Of course, additional help makes lining your dock up with shore and anchoring easier. We recommend always working with a Connect-A-Dock dealer to ensure your dock is securely anchored and attached properly.
The installation process may vary depending on the size of the dock you are installing. For the most efficient installation, we recommend working with a dealer found through the dealer locator.
The Connect-A-Dock can be assembled as long and as wide as you wish. The 60” x 45” x 10” (152.4 cm x 114.3 cm x 25.4 cm) modular sections allow you to configure to almost any size or design. We recommend a minimum of 45″ (114.3 cm) wide for installation.

Connect-A-Port® PWC Docking
Connect-A-Port XL5 & XL6 models accommodate Jet Skis, Sea-Doos, WaveRunners and all other PWC brands with up to four seats. Our wheels are adjustable making it easy for you to customize setup to match your hull.
Connect-A-Port is designed to be extremely easy to install by attaching to any floating or fixed dock. However, we always recommend collaborating with a trusted dealer or installer to ensure your port is installed correctly and has the appropriate components for your setup. Find a dealer near you.
Connect-A-Port can warm up in direct sunlight but is less hot than metal lifts, making it more comfortable to stand on or touch during sunny days. Lighter-colored models absorb less heat than darker colors. Connect-A-Dock is engineered to resist UV damage, ensuring durability and longevity without significant structural impact.
No maintenance is required. Connect-A-Port is easily cleaned with a stiff bristle push broom and soapy or non-soapy water. When using soap, use an environmentally safe product. In areas where water freezes, please reference our winterization policy.
Connect-A-Port is designed to be gentle on your PWC hull and is unlikely to cause damage. The Connect-A-Port material is smooth and non-abrasive, reducing the risk of scratching, scuffing, or gouging your hull as you roll on or off the port. The urethane rollers glide smoothly to support your hull on and off the Connect-A-Port. Plus, rollers are adjustable to match your hull’s size and shape.
Connect-A-Port PWC ports should be removed from the water and stored flat with the wheel side up in environments where water freezes. Do not store the unit on its side or upside down. Right-side-up storage decreases the risk of water and ice causing damage by getting into the underside cavities and vent holes. Please reference the winterization policy.
Connect-A-Port is easily cleanable with a stiff bristle push broom and soapy or non-soapy water. When using soap, consider environmentally friendly options to reduce pollution in the water.
You can purchase replacement wheels, accessories, hardware and more at docksuppliers.com.

Paddle sport vessels up to 34” wide will fit inside the YAKport kayak launch. There is no length restriction.
YAKport has three connection points on one side and two on the other side for different anchoring options. The roto grab bars and overhead assist bar provide a more seamless experience. The notches in the roto grab bars make it easy to use your paddle as leverage to pull/push yourself on/off the unit. The overhead assist bar is an added benefit to pulling yourself on and off the unit and provides a resting point to balance while stepping in and out of the YAKport. The majority of YAKport owners purchase both side and overhead bars.
Basic hardware is included; depending on your anchoring setup, you may need to purchase additional hardware. If you are having your YAKport installed by a dealer, they will bring all required installation pieces.
